 Made in a combination of Steel and Hard Anodized Aluminum parts, this little mill will be around the shop to use for many many years!!

X axis travel is 9.5", Y travel is 5.5" and the Z travel is 6". Total height is 21-3/8" and total depth is 16-3/4". The unit has 1/2"-20 lead screws on the X,Y, & Z axis. Spindle speed ranges from 525 to 5200 RPM.

The spindle accepts the standard 15 degree collets that Taig has used for years. Collet sizes range from 1/8" to 5/16". A 3/8 end mill adapter is available but not included in the package. The vise shown here is not included.

TAIG MICRO MILL CR SERIES

The "CR" means CNC Ready. This IS NOT a CNC mill. The CR series simply has the Nema 23 motor mounts added for your convenience, adjustable bronze nuts on each axis to aid with backlash prevention... The spindle motor is upgraded to a 1/4 H.P.  Axis drive motors and controller are NOT included.

These units can do a lot of work if you want to build you're own CNC mill. Building your own CNC from this frame is pretty straight forward and can be completed in a week to ten days, depending on skill levels.
